SOLTIGUA’S TRACKER OPTIMISED FOR BIFACIAL PV
Soltigua’s BiTrackerTM is developed to maximise the amount of radiation which can reach the back side of bifacial PV modules installed on a tracker.
This is achieved by optimising the ratio between the height and the width of the tracker table, in order to optimise the so-called view factor.
BiTracker adopts also higher than usual purlins to distance the PV modules from the structure so to minimize the shadows of the structural components (e.g. the torque tube) on the rear side of the PV modules.
This separation is enabled by Soltigua’s patented bearing design, which ensures stability and protects against eccentric loads on the structure.
The result is a tracker which conveys up to 20% more radiation on the back side of bifacial modules than standard trackers.
